Mobile Application Policy

1. Purpose
This policy governs the use of the official mobile application (“App”) of Vidivelli Chit Fund Private Limited (“Company”). It outlines the terms, responsibilities, and restrictions to ensure the secure, lawful, and transparent use of the App by all stakeholders, including subscribers, agents, and employees.
2. Scope
- All registered subscribers/members of the Company.
- Authorized agents, employees, and representatives.
- Any person accessing or using the App, whether on Android or iOS platforms.
3. App Usage Eligibility
- Users must be 18 years or older and legally capable of entering into a contract under Indian law.
- Only registered members with a valid Customer ID can access full features of the App.
- The Company reserves the right to suspend or deny access if eligibility criteria are not met.
4. Features of the App
- Viewing chit group details, payment schedules, and auction dates.
- Making online payments towards chit installments.
- Accessing payment receipts, statements, and transaction history.
- Receiving important alerts, reminders, and announcements.
- Submitting queries, feedback, or support requests.
5. User Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials (username, password, PIN, OTP).
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and for personal account management.
- Ensure device security by using updated antivirus and operating systems.
- Immediately notify the Company if login details are compromised.
- Verify all transactions before confirming payment.
6. Prohibited Activities
- Share their account or login credentials with others.
- Attempt unauthorized access, hacking, or modification of the App’s code.
- Use the App for fraudulent or illegal activities.
- Upload harmful or malicious content.
7. Payments & Transactions
- All payments made through the App must be from legitimate and authorized banking channels.
- The Company will not be liable for any failure in payment processing due to internet issues, bank delays, or third-party gateway errors.
- Payment confirmation will be sent via SMS/email/app notification.
8. Data Privacy & Security
- Personal and financial information provided through the App will be handled as per the Company’s Privacy Policy and applicable laws (including the Information Technology Act, 2000).
- The Company uses encryption and secure payment gateways to protect data.
- Data may be stored on secure servers located in India.
9. Intellectual Property
- All trademarks, logos, content, and designs within the App are the property of the Company.
- Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.
- The Company is not responsible for losses arising from:
- User negligence in safeguarding credentials.
- Device malware or unauthorized access.
- Third-party service disruptions.
11. Suspension & Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate App access without prior notice in cases of:
- Policy violation.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity.
- Misuse of the App.
12. Updates & Changes
- The Company may update the App and/or this policy from time to time.
- Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
